How we work as a WooCommerce agency
We didn't add WooCommerce to our services because the homepage needed another logo. Our WordPress clients grew, asked us to build their stores, and the specialization grew out of actual work. Here's what that history taught us about stores that convert.
When Coditive was founded, we did WordPress development. As our clients’ businesses grew, they kept asking the same follow-up question: can you build our store too? We could, and over the years those stores taught us what makes e-commerce sites actually sell - which turns out to be quite different from what makes them look good in a portfolio.
Why WooCommerce
WooCommerce powers roughly a third of all online stores - millions of active shops worldwide. But popularity isn’t why we recommend it. Control is.
WooCommerce is open source and built on WordPress, which means you own your store completely: no monthly platform fees eating into margins, no transaction cuts, no sudden pricing changes from a landlord you can’t negotiate with. And because WordPress runs over 40% of the web, you’re building on a foundation with an enormous ecosystem of developers who understand it. If we ever stopped being the right partner, you wouldn’t be stranded - that’s a feature, not a risk.
The full service offer lives on our WooCommerce development page.
What makes our approach different
We build clean stores. In practice that means custom themes designed for your business, without page-builder bloat dragging down load times. We use Laravel Blade templates and ACF blocks for structure, which produces code that Google crawls happily and pages that render fast - and at store scale, those milliseconds show up directly in conversion rates.
When standard plugins can’t deliver what your business needs, we build custom. You shouldn’t have to install a plugin that loads a dozen scripts to get one feature. We write the one feature.
Plenty of agencies say they do WooCommerce. Fewer understand the platform deeply enough to customize it without breaking it - we’ve inherited enough shaky stores to know the difference. When we build yours, the product structures, taxonomies, and architecture are planned for the next three years, not the next three months, so growth doesn’t mean a rebuild.
The collaboration matters as much as the code:
It’s rare to find a frontend team that builds designs with such precision, ensuring every site looks exactly as envisioned. Beyond their technical expertise, they’ve been great communicators, keeping us in the loop and delivering things on time.

Real solutions we’ve delivered
We respect client confidentiality, so most of our stores can’t be shown here. Two custom plugins we can talk about:
FreshMail integration
We built a custom WooCommerce connector for FreshMail (now part of MailerLite) that syncs customer data between platforms, sends abandoned-cart reminders at configurable intervals, tracks 30-day cart-abandonment analytics, and supports birthday automations with branded email templates.

The hard part wasn’t connecting the APIs - it was building something marketing teams could run without a developer on call. Now they segment customers by purchase history, send targeted promotions, and recover abandoned carts without touching code.
Swiss logistics integration
For a leading Swiss delivery company, we created a shipping solution that transmits order data to their logistics API, generates shipping labels and QR codes, creates delivery notes for store administrators, and manages sender and recipient notifications.

Swiss logistics systems have strict requirements and zero tolerance for transmission errors. The plugin now handles thousands of shipments daily, replacing hours of manual processing and nearly eliminating shipping mistakes.
Neither of these existed off the shelf. That’s the point.
Our development philosophy
Build it right the first time. Concretely, that means three things.
First, we understand your business model before writing code: how you sell, how fulfillment works, how your customers actually shop.
Second, we write clean, documented code other developers can read and maintain. We’re not interested in manufacturing dependency on our agency through obscure engineering.
Third, we test under real conditions. Your store will survive sale days, traffic spikes, and the strange edge cases that crash demo-quality builds.
Skip the sales talk
If you’re considering a WooCommerce store, look at code quality and approach - ours or anyone else’s. Talk to the developers, not just the sales team. Bring your business requirements, not just design preferences.
We won’t promise unrealistic timelines to win the project. What we offer is a store built on clean code, easy to manage, and ready to grow. Start with the WooCommerce service details or tell us about your store - we’ll answer honestly about what’s possible, what’s practical, and what will actually move your numbers.
