What will your work look like, and what will your responsibilities be?
First and foremost, projects will be tailored to you so that you can showcase the full extent of your talent. At Coditive, we constantly learn, and even if we feel strong in a particular area, we never rest on our laurels and strive to get even better. This is exactly what we will expect from you.
Your main responsibility will be to execute advanced projects using WordPress as the engine: these may include applications, integrations, portals, or e-commerce services.
During your time with us, your responsibilities will also include working with other platforms and technologies, building dedicated software from scratch to run in web browsers—whether comprehensive applications or single microservices cooperating with other modules in larger systems.
It’s very likely that your duties will also include long-term development and support for WordPress themes or plugins, as well as contributing to the development of our own digital products.
You will create specifications for new projects and influence the choice of solutions and technologies on which a given project will be based.
Your responsibilities will also include ensuring good code quality, creating project architecture, and considering performance even before you write the first line of code.
Using modern technologies and tools, one of your tasks will be converting client-provided designs into fully functioning, pixel-perfect websites.
You will be an important part of our dev team, and we are confident that working with us will allow you to grow while we learn something new from you.
Our expectations
Good knowledge of the WordPress platform and WP coding standards – it can’t be any other way :),
Familiarity with the Gutenberg editor,
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript (including ES6+),
Knowledge of GIT,
Familiarity with the Sass (SCSS) preprocessor,
Knowledge of Sketch and/or Figma, as well as Adobe XD, sufficient for implementing front-end designs with pixel-perfect precision,
Communicative English skills, both spoken and written – we work mostly for international clients, so proficiency in this language is very important to us,

You have experience in implementing WordPress themes and plugins – a link to a repository with completed projects or a website is highly appreciated,
You are familiar with the BEM methodology,
You have basic knowledge of NPM (yarn) and Webpack,
You are familiar with Vue.js,
You understand design patterns and the principles of OOP,
You have experience with the Scrum framework,
You have the ability to comfortably write texts or articles.

We offer full-time work based on a B2B contract, but we also provide the option of flexible working hours.
We work from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On Tuesdays, we finish at 5:00 PM, so on Fridays, we can wrap up by 3:00 PM and start the weekend earlier.
English is the standard in the IT industry, and most of our clients are international. In our daily work, we constantly use English. When you start working with us, you’ll have plenty of time to improve your language skills before we throw you in at the deep end.
We strive to ensure our developers can focus 100% on their work, which is why client communication is handled by roles such as Account Manager and Project Manager. As a Developer, you will have direct contact with the client only when it genuinely streamlines the project workflow.
