Dev Day & Company Retreat in the mountains

web developers outsourcing

Covid-19 pandemic made us hungry for contact with our team. It was the main reason we organized the integration trip. During that time we were sharing knowledge from the IT world, chilling among nature and eating some grilled sausages.

Let’s start at the very beginning…

One part of our team works remotely, the other part works from our office. We connect with each other by such tools as Slack or Zoom. They help us at work but are not as good as direct communication. We had an integration trip a year ago and our Coditive team has grown since then. What is more we really wanted just to hang out together.

Dev Day

We started the event with the internal training called Dev Day, where wediscussed such topics as:

  1. A pragmatic programmer
  2. Optimal development based on Gutenberg’s blocks
  3. WP-CLI custom commands
  4. Practical use cases of Jira software
  5. Why components-based development matter

⬆️ If you find this useful, feel free to check out our blog Besides the articles we mentioned above you can read there some blog posts about fun and interesting facts from the IT world.

Chillout time

After internal training, the chillout time among nature has begun. We went to beautiful Istebna village. It’s a place in the mountains, where we could enjoy the silence, surrounding greenery, and picturesque hills.

During our trip we were hiking in the area, watching Euro 2020 Poland – Spain (1: 1), and had a great barbecue time.

The entire trip lasted two days but left us with unforgettable memories and… custom swag – a Coditive branded t-shirt.

Do we plan some more integration trips? Absolutely!
